No need to do lots of theory work we teach you the practical from day one. 

We offer in House training alongside a trained Groomer on a 1-2-1 basis. You will learn the basics of the grooming industry

Firstly, to clarify the dog grooming industry is an unregulated industry and therefore there are options when choosing your dog grooming training.

Taster Day Dog Grooming

one day course 

This course is for anyone who would like to have an insight into the Dog grooming industry. 

 

This will assist you in making the decision if Dog grooming is the right career path. 

 

we offer this in house course for £145 paid in advance and is non refundable

Training Time: 9.30am – 4pm

Eligibility to complete this course:Learners must be aged 18 or above. They must be comfortable around dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dog Grooming Assistant

     

    Dog Grooming Styling 

    Dog Grooming Assistant includes clipping and styles 

    This would be learning all aspects of breed standard grooms and pet trims used daily in the industry. 

    Course is 20 days long with a professional groomer everything is supplied for you in our purpose built salon. 

    The in house practical sessions will apply to both courses and you will work alongside a professional groomer for the duration of the course. 

     

    A deposit £500 is required before you start the course. you can pay via installments but you cant start until its paid. 

    you can also pay via bank transfer or our card machine. 

     

    example 

    If you wanted to start in Jan  2026 next year you can pay your deposit to secure you slot and then 4  - 6  payments up to  the course start date. 

     

    All terms and conditions are available on our page . its a non refundable course due to the  course work and equipment required you will be using our equipment.

    Times and days are agreed in advance to work around your current job or schedule.

    please note curly coated breeds the cost is higher due to the preparation required for the coat with blasting and drying the coat/ fluff drying to get the style perfect. We use a special shampoo as well to help with this.

    The kit is expensive coming to our salon we supply it all for you. So no need to spend £100' on equipment. 

    Electric bath 

    we have a fully electric bath which goes up and down to save your back.most colleges have stand alone baths which can be harsh on your body.

    we have an electric grooming table again which is ideal for you back saves you lifting heavy breeds.
