Want to work towards an official qualification?
Dog grooming is not a legally regulated profession in the UK, so a dog-grooming certificate is not a legal requirement. We still recommend learning with an experienced professional, and employers may set their own requirements.
Our in-house courses provide practical training but do not award an official qualification. If you wish to pursue one, we can discuss arranging an independent assessor and an external evidence-based online course through iPET Network or City & Guilds, subject to availability. This route includes online coursework and assessment; the current quoted cost is £5,850 and must be confirmed with the provider. It is separate from our in-house course fees.
